Censorship – Cyber Security – Politics What Happened to Parler

Hey everyone, it looks like the latest news that is hitting the Airways and web pages and media feeds is parlor is now offline. So, what does this really mean. Well for starters it means that free speech is going to take yet another backseat an information flow is going to be restricted. This is not good news for anyone. Many of us are sick of big tech doing what they are doing with censorship their view of the narrative as how information and news stories get played out. We all love their technology which is pervasive cool and good and easy to use. However, this is where someone needs to take a stand someone needs to say enough, and that day is now.
Change begins with all of us. It is not rocket science it’s not something you have to go venture off into a Canyon or mountain or some far exotic place out in the ocean. For this change to begin we all must agree to take the following actions.
Get off Facebook Google Instagram Snapchat and all the big companies that sensor in Fact Check
You must move to social media that promotes free speech with no targeting advertising with your data and your personal life cannot be bought or sold.
These actions or have significant effects because when you take away the audience the company has no power. If a tree falls in the Woods and no one is there to hear it does it make a sound? We all know it does, but no one cares because no one is there to hear it. Netwerk Guardian is taking a stand it is now moving all its social media off those platforms they’ll be no more posts except for the post it says go to mewe and parler.
Now let us look at what Parler did to react to this and listening to a broadcast from Tucker Carlson on Fox news it was reported from the CEO of parler that they have 300 to 400 servers need to be moved. They were given 24-hour notice to get copies of their data and move it elsewhere and we know for that size that is impossible task. What get me scratching my head is why there is no disaster recovery plan that shows what to do with those servers should they become inaccessible or offline. Do they have a DR or a BCP plan in which they could resume services somewhere else or at another alternate site with Amazon? So that is like the only takeaway I have from this is that the CEO have parler failed to project and think through a scenario in which a risk would occur for loss of service a loss of access to servers or some political unrest could affect them.
Netwerk Guardian prides itself on thinking through some of the worst-case scenarios that can happen. We have teamed up with Synology NAS to make disaster recovery and BCP almost instant. With Synology NAS you can take copies of your servers and make backups and then restore from those backups based off the frequency and settings for each backup job. Synology NAS integrates with VMware and Hyper-V. I can take a server at a location across the US and bring it anywhere in four hours’ time sometimes maybe a little longer depending on the ISP connection.
If we all take a stand and do this, you put more power back to the people and away from these big companies. Your future depends on it. I leave you with some positive motivation to keep your chin up so that challenges will recognize their defeat. We can do this Netwerk Guardian will show you the way.
